With the as-of-posting events at London Bridge going on, with attackers stabbing and yelling “this is for Allah”, Donald Trump has reiterated that his temporary ban on foreigners arriving from six predominantly Muslim countries is necessary.

Trump’s attorneys asked the Supreme Court to bring back his revised travel ban, which he issued after federal courts blocked enforcement. Nearly all the lower courts that have ruled so far have found that Trump’s order was unconstitutional due to religious discrimination.

Trump’s campaign promise to bring in a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States” was referenced by judges.
